Albert 'Ray' Powell He was born in Logan County on Sept. 1, 1924, to the late John Finley and Effie Myrtle Hester Powell. Ray served on the Auburn Rural Fire Department for 36 years, worked for Mr. Aaron Rogers and later Mr. Murrel Rogers, Rogers Lumber, until it was sold to Blanton Lumber in Russellville where he worked until his retirement.
